Day 0

Depart from USA 

Begin your journey by catching your flight from the USA to Crete, Greece. 

Day 1
Upon your arrival in Heraklion, our team will greet you at the airport and provide you with a comfortable transfer to your hotel. Take this opportunity to unwind and prepare for the exciting days ahead. We’ll gather for dinner at a local restaurant, where you'll have the opportunity to meet the rest of the group.

Day 2

Heraklion to Rethymno

Your day will include exploring the rich history of Crete by visiting the Archaeological Museum in Heraklion, home to some of the island's most significant artifacts. Next, visit the ancient ruins of Knossos, the center of the Minoan civilization. After the tour,  we'll transfer you to the charming town of Rethymno to your hotel for a restful night.

Day 3

Today, set out on a guided hike led by our expert. Your journey will take you through Discover the diverse landscapes of Crete, including its palm forests, gorges, and pristine beaches. Later Wander through Rethymno's old port, where you can admire the Venetian architecture and picturesque views. After this fulfilling day, we'll return you to your hotel for a peaceful night's rest.

 

Day 4

Rethymno to Chania

Today a private transfer will take you  to Chania, another beautiful city on the island. Upon arrival in Chania, enjoy a private walking tour of Chania, exploring its historic sites and local culture. Afterward, visit Chania’s iconic old Venetian port, a perfect spot for photos and soaking up the atmosphere.

Day 5

In the morning, you will explore the quaint village of Ano Vouves, known for its ancient olive trees. LaterSpend the afternoon at the stunning Balos Beach, where the turquoise waters and white sand offer a perfect setting for relaxation. After your beach excursion, enjoy dinner at a traditional taverna in Kissamos. 

Day 6

Chania

Today spend your  day on the island visiting Elafonissi Beach, famous for its pink sand and clear waters. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring Chania or relaxing.

Day 7

Crete to Athens

After breakfast, we'll arrange your transfer to Chania Airport for your flight to Athens. Upon arrival, a transfer will be waiting to take you to your hotel, where we will assist with the check-in process. Following that, you'll embark on a 3-hour tour, visiting the Olympic Stadium (Panathenaic Stadium), the changing of the guard at Syntagma Square, Plaka, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and many more.

 
Day 8

Athens

Today you will start your day at the Acropolis of Athens, where you'll explore the ancient Parthenon, enjoy sweeping views of the city, and immerse yourself in the history of this extraordinary civilization. Next, visit the Acropolis Museum to admire its impressive collection of ancient artifacts. In the afternoon, you will head to one of Greece's most picturesque coastal spots, the ancient Temple of Poseidon, perched on a dramatic sea cliff with breathtaking views of the Aegean. Wander through the temple ruins dedicated to the Greek god of the sea, and consider an afternoon tour to witness the renowned sunset.

Day 9

Athens

Today, enjoy a free morning to explore this magnificent city at your own pace. Stroll through the charming narrow streets of Plaka, Monastiraki, and Psiri taking in the beauty of Greek architecture. Later, visit the historic ruins of the Ancient Agora and the Roman Agora. As our journey draws to a close, join me for a farewell dinner where we can reflect on our adventures together.
