Itinerary

Day 0

Depart from USA 

Start your adventure by boarding your flight from the USA to Greece.

 

Day 1 - Arrival in Athens

Upon arrival in Athens, Greece, a transfer will be waiting to take you to your hotel, where we will assist with the check-in process.  In the evening, we’ll gather at a local taverna, where you will have the opportunity to meet the rest of the group.

 

Day 2 - Athens Exploration

Today you will start your day at the Acropolis of Athens, where you'll explore the ancient Parthenon, enjoy sweeping views of the city, and immerse yourself in the history of this extraordinary civilization. Next, visit the Acropolis Museum to admire its impressive collection of ancient artifacts. In the afternoon, you will head to one of Greece's most picturesque coastal spots, the ancient Temple of Poseidon, perched on a dramatic sea cliff with breathtaking views of the Aegean. Wander through the temple ruins dedicated to the Greek god of the sea, and consider an afternoon tour to witness the renowned sunset.

Day 3 - Athens Highlights
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before visiting the changing of the guard at Syntagma Square followed by the historic Panathenaic Stadium, the site of the first modern Olympic Games. The day's itinerary includes visits to the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Agora, and the Roman Agora. You'll also have time to explore the lively areas of Psiri, Monastiraki, and Plaka before enjoying some leisure time in the city.

Day 4 - Athens to Olympia
After breakfast, you'll check out and head to Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to explore Ancient Olympia, immersing yourself in its rich history. The evening is yours to relax and enjoy your time in Olympia.

Day 5 - Olympia to Mani
Following breakfast, you'll drive to the Mani Peninsula, with stops along the way at Ancient Messinia, Kalamata, Kardamyli, and Stoupa Beach. The day will be filled with scenic views and cultural experiences before settling in for the night in Mani.

Day 6 - Mani Peninsula Exploration

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before exploring the capital of Mani, Areopolis, and the coastal town of Gytheio. The day offers a mix of cultural discovery and coastal charm as you take in the unique atmosphere of this region. You'll spend another night in Mani.

Day 7 - Mani Adventure

After breakfast, you'll visit the picturesque village of Limeni and the fascinating Diros Caves, known for their stunning underground lakes and formations. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax or further explore Mani before your final night in this beautiful area.

 

Day 8 - Mani to Nafplio

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out and heading to Nafplio, one of Greece's most charming towns. Upon arrival, you'll check into your hotel and explore the old town, including the Palamidi Fortress and the Arvanitia Promenade, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

Day 9 -  Nafplio to Athens

After breakfast, you'll visit the ancient sites of Epidaurus and Mycenae, including the Sanctuary of Asclepius. The journey continues with a visit to one of the Nemea Wineries for a taste of local wine, followed by a shortstop in Corinth. You'll then drive back to Athens, where you'll enjoy a farewell dinner, celebrating the end of your Greek adventure.

 

Day 10 - Departure from Athens

It's time to say "Andio" as you depart from Athens. You'll be transferred to the airport for your flight back home, bringing with you unforgettable memories of your time in Greece.
